Hacienda Patrón
PROJECT BRIEF
Patrón wanted to transform the terrace at Rosewood London into a destination inspired by the original Hacienda Patrón, the brand’s home in Jalisco. The brief was to create a premium outdoor environment that could bring the character of the Hacienda into the hotel setting through architecture, materials, planting and subtle brand detail.

The approach was to interpret the Hacienda rather than replicate it. Drawing on its defining architectural and material cues - sweeping arches, pale stucco, dark timber, terracotta and abundant planting - the concept created a contemporary expression of Mexican hospitality that felt considered within the existing Rosewood environment.
Creation developed the terrace from concept through technical design, fabrication and installation, reshaping the space with bespoke arches, raised decking, integrated planting and a new visual language throughout the bar and seating areas. A custom hero bar echoed the Hacienda’s architecture through repeated arched forms and subtle Patrón detailing, while terracotta vessels, agave planting, woven lighting and layered furnishings brought warmth and texture across the terrace.
The finished space balanced Patrón’s identity with Rosewood’s existing character, creating an environment that felt immersive without becoming overly branded.
